Dr. Basques is amazing! The most caring surgeon. His hands are so soft. You can tell he really treats each patient with care. He’s not one of those orthopedic surgeons who just wants to saw open your bones. He also cares about your heart. ??

I saw Dr Basques and he did a microdysectomy procedure Sept 2022. I began having problems again in October and at my follow up visit in January after a new MRI 12/30/22 he told me everything was fine and my nerve was probably scarred and I would have to live with the pain. As the pain got worse I went to see a Dr in Boston who found that I had two areas in my lumbar that were bone on bone and I had re-herniated the disc. So in order to fix it and finally be in pain am having a lumbar fusion surgery in Boston at a very reputable hospital with a very reputable Dr. The new Dr could see immediately that I had bone on bone just by looking at my x-rays. Dr Basque should have seen that same thing since he took xrays at ever single visit. DO NOT USE THIS DR IF YOU ARE IN PAIN AND NEED HELP! It seems that if the fix is too complicated and involved not only with Dr Basque not offer it, but he will not even tell you to see another doctor.
