My mother suffered a stroke. When I chose to bring her home, I found out there were many different companies to choose from. Not having experience with any of them I went with Caris. I am so so happy that I did. Everything went seamless from the delivering the equipment to picking up the equipment when my mother passed away. Anytime my supplies were running low all I had to do was tell them and it was brought to me. Now as for the wonderful nurses, that is the best description that I can give. During her illness I had contact with 3 different nurses. I can not say how much I appreciated their thoughtfulness and caring for my whole family. They guided me through this journey keeping me informed as we progressed further into her illness. My mother's nursing attendant bathed her, did her hair, and passed along any changes she saw to the RNs. The social worker was involved as a care partner, she kept me aware of the availability of respite care that I might could use as needed. And that leaves us with the Chaplin. She absolutely provided my mother with the spiritual care she needed. On her last birthday Diane, the Chaplin, went so beyond to make sure it had joy and celebration. The best part of that was she and my mother sang old hymns. That is a memory I will always treasure. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Caris. They became family and I thank them so much.
