The staff truly cares for the residents and work hard to make their lives as comfortable as possible. Insofar as the comments by a couple of people about falls, unfortunately nursing homes are not allowed to use side rails on beds, alarms on beds or in chairs, seatbelts or other things in chairs etc. as the state considers these restraints. The state of Ohio says that the residents have a right to freedom even if it means falling. It is a sad and unfortunate reality. Many things are put into place to try to keep this from happening but they can't control impulsivity. Nobody wants anyone to fall and/or get hurt.
