Dr. Campbell not only saved my dad's vision. He (and his staff) always took time to explain. Made us feel like family. He is a great doctor and he is a great human being. I totally recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr.Campbell for over a year Truly satisfied with his treatments.Just regret not attending to my problem sooner.But I give thanks to Dr Campbell for his treatmens That have helped me with my Vision .And By All Means He has Great assistance and Irma ,Roxy always with A Smile and very polite That makes me look Forward too my Next Appointment.God Bless You All And Safe Traveling.

My father had issues with his eyes and the team was very nice and professional all the way... After his surgery he now sees much clearer and I'm so thankful for Dr. Campbell and the specialist of South Texas Retina!

I went in and paid more than double for the same exams 2 optometrist did. Dont go in paying out of pocket with no insurance you'll be treated differently. My Left eye hemmoraged and right eye was ok. These exams shouldve prevented my right eye from hemorrhaging after the 2 visits i had with them. Now im left with blurry vision on both, hemorrhaging in both eyes. Called the 1-800 number to see if its an emergency and if i needed to go to the emergency room around 10pm and was told to call the office in the morning to be squeezed in for an appointment. Hemmorage wasnt as bad on my right eye the night i called, the wait made it worse. Definitely wouldnt recommend these people. Being see by different Dr's isnt really a good sign they were rushing things along and seemed confused at times. Did nothing to help or prevent.

Last summer 2019, had laser performed in my right eye but in the wrong area. He seemed confused and very old. I had to return and have it fixed by another doctor who is probably as old as the owner because I had a hole in my retina. It is very dangerous that these doctors are still practicing. I have so many friends blinded after he performed surgery on them ... The only doctor that I trusted is gone. Do your research and find a competent retina specialist.
