Dr Afaneh, his P A, and his entire team is fabulous. Last year he performed Triple !! ( oversized ) Hernia surgery using Laproscopic - Robotic surgery. My friends said for me to hire an aid to come to my apt because I would be to be in immense pain. I wake up my first morning at home expecting the worst. WOW I wake up and go to wash - no pain. I get dressed and go out to get Breakfast. I was looking for the pain but there was none !! BTW I even offered him some helpful pre operation advise for communicating with his patients. BTW I suggested that he eat a small piece of Fish in the morning. That way during the day he won't be hard of herring !! With gratitude, Michael N.

I couldn't have been in better hands with Dr. Afaneh. He is a great surgeon. He performed a laser colectomy that put me back on track to living a normal lifestyle. Dr. Afaneh is not only a highly skilled and astute surgeon, he is a great communicator and takes his time to explain all aspects of a procedure in a professional but compassionate manner. My healing process was half the projected time frame and I am back at work three weeks after surgery.

I have never felt so safe in a doctors care - Dr Afaneh is more than competent, always prepared for the visit, I never feel rushed and he truly listens and responds to everything I say or ask him. He is empathic and kind - I can’t say enough. I honestly believe he saved my life. He is the best decision I’ve made.
