Best urgent care ever! I cut my fingertip all the way through my finger nail and it definitely needed stitches. I got there about ten minutes before closing and was greeted by a very friendly staff. They told me I might not get in because they were closing soon. I decided to take my chances and wait. They got me in after they closed. I met the very wonderful Dr Vivian Carlton. She was so kind and made me feel like there was nothing to worry about. She added extra stitch's, per my request, because I use my hands a lot and I always seem to brake them. She even stitched my fingernail together. Here it is about a month later and you can barely see the cut. She did such a good job cleaning out the cauterized/dead skin and doing the stitching that I don't have any scar tissue at all. Thank you Dr Carlton and staff!

Went in for shoulder pain on my lunch hour and was seen right away! The staff from the front desk to the back office was excellent! Was able to get an X-ray right away and a diagnosis all within the hour. Very nice and kind staff (wish I remembered their names) they were all so helpful and took the time to listen. Wish I could give more stars !

Please advise they only accept PPO Insurance. We brought our daughter in for possibly needing stitches. She only needed to be glued up. Service was friendly and fast which was welcomed.

Nicest staff of any urgent care I've ever been to. Dr. Serra was very kind and approachable. Makes a world of difference. No one likes going to the doctor's office, so I'm thankful they made it so pleasant.

I was in dire need for urgent care while on a family trip to legoland. After scouring yelp, I chose coastal family since they had the best reviews. The reviews were absolutely correct. I've been to many Urgent Cares and none has ever taken the time and been personable like Coastal Family. Dr. Krista took care of my very nasty problem and correctly prescribed me a cocktail of antibiotics. I am on the mend and can only thank this place for being compassionate, understanding and professional while correctly fixing my problem and allowing me to continue my family vacation. I wish they could move to my hometown so I would have a dependable Urgent Care. Thank you!

I have been here many times for minor issues including sinus issues, orthopedic pain, and a dog bite. I have seen several of the providers but like Vivian Carlton, PA, Dr. Aminlari, and Dr. Serra. One nurse practitioner had an issue with but I don't remember her name. This urgent care seems to believe and listen to patients. Dr. Amy Aminlari went far behind the normal urgent care doctor when I came in for a dog bite. I as well was seen very fast for the dog bite. Dr. Aminlari commended a plastic surgeon for the dog bite. She contacted the plastic surgeon, including sending a picture to him. The plastic surgeon was working on the holiday and told me to come to his office. I personally think this is one of the better urgent care in San Diego area. It actuallyprobablyy the best one that my insurance is contracted with.

I mean 5 stars is not enough. 50 stars is not enough. These people are amazing. Every single one of them. Everyone is so nice, caring, compassionate. They take the time with you, I never felt rushed. Can't say enough great things about them.
