This man is one of the greatest humans! If he is your surgeon you’re very lucky. He truly cares for his patients and is highly respected among his peers in the medical community; I know because as his patient he and his team went to bat for me at another hospital, while on vacation, repeatedly, because it was in my best interest and he cared about me as his patient. He doesn’t care about money, and already has unparalleled respect in his field so he does what he does best, repairs the broken, even if some of us break repeatedly. He loves people and keeps his oath to protect and heal them. He also knows how to pick really good people and there isn’t a surgeon or PA I wouldn’t trust at his recommendation. Everything relating to my surgery has been handled professionally, in a way that makes a distressing condition manageable. Even the events on surgery day were positive and comforting. I'm glad Dr Cook and his staff were managing everything. Thanks to all of you!

Staff was friendly and professional. My np who did the consultation explained in detail what my hernia was and how the surgery will be performed. Answered all my questions to my satisfaction. She was very knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend Utah surgical associates to everyone.
