I was able to get an appointment on short notice and once there was called into exam room even before I'd finished the new patient paperwork. He listened carefully and was armed with all my relevant test results. He explained my condition and his plan of treatment clearly.

On time , thorough, as a new urologist for me , he asked and recommended some newer things than my previous doc.

Saved my life, he is very communicative & smiles (so no matter how serious the health issue, he presents hope).

Just had a vasectomy here today. The staff and the doctor are all very professional and kind. I was nervous about it but it turned out to be a piece of cake. The prep work took longer than the procedure. The assistant Ellen put me at ease and assured me it would be a nearly painless procedure, which it was. From the ball numbing, to standing up and leaving the operating room, it was between 9 and 12 minutes. The office is very clean and bright. I was super relaxed the whole time. I highly, highly, highly recommend this doctor and this office. Great job! Now I just need to find a bag of peas in the freezer.

I stumbled upon this rating website for Dr. Canfield, and I must say I was astonished to see less than a 4 star rating for the doctor. That is the rating I give, and that is what I would rate Dr. C, from the very beginning of my experience with him some 4 years ago to now. I consider him (and his staff) as the best. I would never consider any other urologist. He has always taken as much time with me as I need and has always explained everything I needed to know. Again, I cannot imagine why anyone would rate Dr. C or his staff as anything but top rated.
