Very knowledgeable and caring. He always takes his time with his patients and never feels rushed. He’s such an amazing doctor that I travel to Charleston from Augusta to see him. He’s the only one I trust.

Had a complex endometriosis issues that resulted in a complete hysterectomy. Dr.Thomae is amazing! Made me feel so comfortable with everything even though I didn't live in the Charleston area and wasn't able to do but one face to face appointment prior to my surgery!

I had this Dr for the birth of two children in Augusta GA. I was very saddened that he left. I truly believe he saved my unborn child. I had complications and changed to him and had a very great outcome. He also did other surgeries and truly loved him. My oldest also visit him and was comfortable and pleased with him and she also hated to see him go. Great doctor...

He was awesome!!! He made my health better! Great bedside manner. I dealt with endometriosis and I did my research before consulting him for surgery. Everything that I researched was right in line . He was able to perform my surgery with the Da Vinci robot. He has proctored many other doctors in other states . He deals with women who other gynecologist do not want to touch. His specialty is fibroids, endometriosis and other gynecological diseases. Thanks again Dr Thomae!!!

After I delivered my son in 1998, I had a severe hemmorage. I required a blood transfusion due to my RBC being so low. Throughout the night, I was unable to maintain consciousness and did not have clear cognitive functioning. The next morning, when I started to feel better-my nurse told me that Dr. Thomae stayed overnight at the hospital (even though he wasn’t on call) because he was very worried about me and wasn’t sure I would even make it through the night. He checked on me periodically throughout the night. My nurse was extremely impressed with his compassion and care. It isn’t often you hear this from your nurses. I already knew this about him, but he proved it when I needed him. This is the type of doctor everyone wants. You won’t go wrong with Dr. Thomae.

I was immediately put at ease by Dr. Thomae and his nurse. Thank you for making a difficult time an easy experience.

Wow - Just found out Dr. Thomae left the Augusta area. Prayers for a wonderful practice in Charleston and I will definitely miss you!

I love Dr. Thomae!! He delivered my twin boys, Taylor and Tucker Adcock, on May 10, 2011 at Doctors Hospital. He was so sweet and caring. He is the only ob/gun I will ever use!!!!
