Several other DPMs tried to treat a neuroma in my left foot with expensive orthotics that didn't provide any relief, and shots that didn't provide any relief, and expensive shoes that helped just a little bit - they recommended cutting the nerve to relieve \ eliminate the pain, but that would have been a long recovery time. Dr. Dauphinee's decompression technique on the neuroma on my foot was VERY successful - it's been three days after surgery and I'm walking around back in in my Crocs with a relatively normal left foot and a drastically reduced recovery period. Every single person that I interacted with on his staff was helpful, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. I'm wondering why none of the other DPMs recommended the decompression approach - if ANYTHING goes wrong with my foot or ankle, my first call will be to Dr. Dauphinee's office.

Dr. Dauphinee performed surgery on my husband's foot that very likely saved the foot and/or toes from amputation. Various other doctors had chosen not to do surgery. Dr. Dauphinee believed that surgery was the best option and proceeded to successfully remake my husband's toes. We are extremely grateful for his skill, intelligence, and courage.
