DANIEL BERGMAN

 Dr. Bergman graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a minor in Biochemistry, and an emphasis in Theological Studies. He then attended Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Bergman completed his internship and dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (Mohs surgery) in Birmingham, Alabama. 

Dr. Bergman subsequently joined the faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he served as an assistant professor in the Division of Mohs Surgery until 2025. He has received advanced training in skin cancer management and surgical reconstruction using the Mohs micrographic surgical technique, having completed over 7,000 cases. His pursuit of clinical excellence and compassionate patient care inspired him to found Elite Skin, with a focus on delivering the highest quality care in skin cancer prevention and treatment.
