David Blyweiss

I was most impressed with Dr. Blyweiss' diagnostic techniques and analysis. Until two years ago, I had been sick most of my life and he was able to pin point my main problem. My lifestyle has improved 95% and thanks to his diagnosis, I am living an excellent quality of life! Bravo!

Dr Blyweiss is a superb physician and a great human being but his very young staff is often very disorganized and make too many basic mistakes - one example: I was awaiting very important blood results. A got a call from a young lady who gave me the results over the phone but they were another patient's blood work, not mine. And if you appear at all upset they are clueless about the damage that has been done when they are referring to diseases that I never knew I had. There is not apology forthcoming or basic understanding of the seriousness of such a mistake. The staff is generally very polite and well meaning but by the actions give the entire office a feeling of disorganization and of unprofessionalism - as they have been to me on several occasions. Blyweiss himself, as a leading practitioner in Functional Medicine, is a genius and is irreplaceable otherwise I would be forced to go elsewhere.

wrong diagnosis, very expensive, beautiful young female staff (seems odd that they all should look like models). For certain conditions perhaps he might be suitable, but in my case I ultimately needed a surgery for which he gave me an off the cuff incorrect diagnosis

I went to Dr. B because I was desperate for help. He has a young, beautiful, mostly female staff, as if he hires based on appearance. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Price is outrageously high. My first visit went from quoted $750 to $2500 before I was out, although he did give me a break on some followup treatments. He almost arbitrarily gave a diagnosis that it turned out was completely wrong. Prescribed meds I ended up buying for several hundred $ but in fact didn't need and were actually not for my symptoms and I ended up just throwing out . A staff member blew off my symptoms, saying I couldn't possibly be experiencing what in fact I was. They are mostly responsive and very cordial, so if you can afford it, and want to give them a try, you may as well. Apparently he does help some people with some health problems. And he's a very nice man, seems genuinely concerned for his patients.

Very disorganized, greedy doctors, overpriced, did not get the help I need after spending a few thousand out of pocket because they don't accept insurance. I was very disappointed because I had heard good things about Dr. Blyweiss. I waited 2 months to see him and should have not wasted my time. He may be better for patients over 60 with heart disease but I would not recommend him for younger patients with endocrinology related issues.
