Dr. Dody and his wonderful staff have helped me experience a level of mind-and-body healing that I didn’t know I could reclaim, let alone move beyond. Like many people who strive, I’ve encountered stress, challenges, and a few hard knocks along the way. I’ve done a great deal of self-work and reflection, showing up for the growth that life asks of us. As I enter my 50s, some of the mental patterns and challenges I faced felt difficult to change, even with my dedicated efforts. I’m so grateful to have discovered natural, sustained support that truly helps. My mind feels clearer, steadier, and more at ease than it has in a long time.

August of last year I had a head injury (a large tree branch fell on my head). I had an MRI and it came back negative. I saw my doctor a couple days after because I was experiencing head aches, brain fog, sinus congestion, balance issues and memory issues. I was advised by my doctor to be patient and things would improve. They did not so I went to Dr. Dody. I was familiar with his practice from prior chiropractic work. Dr. Dody did a brain mapping and from the results put me on a neurofeedback protocol. After a couple of sessions I started to feel better, after a couple of months I had improved significantly. I now feel like my old self, no headaches, no memory or balance problems. I am so thankful for Dr. Dody and his staff, I do not think I would have gotten better without them.

I started coming to Dr. Dody several months ago. I came in for two major reasons. The first, was about every month or two my back would go out on me. Any random movements would cause my back to give out and sometimes it was hard to stand up or even sit down. This would last anywhere from two days, up to 6 or seven days. The second main reason I came in was for headaches. I would get headaches on a regular basis. Sometimes light, but sometimes bad and sometimes they would last for several days. I have had traditional chiropractic care many times but never really felt relief and was tired of the jarring and the popping. Especially with my neck. In fact most of the time the chiropractors couldn't even pop my neck because it was so tight. The technique Dr. Dody uses is much less abrasive on the body. Since I have been coming here over the last several months or so I can say I have not had a full blown episode where my low back has gone out on me. Even golf has been easier. With that said, I still do have trouble with it, and I need some more work. But, it has come a long way and its nothing like it used to be. In addition to my back not going out on me, my headaches have reduced by probably more than 50 percent, which anyone who gets headaches knows how big a deal that is. As well as the care, everyone in the office is super nice. Heather and Emily are great. They are always super cheerful and helpful. I’ve struggled with ADHD my entire life, especially in school, and it’s been a real challenge. Finding Dr. Dody and starting neurofeedback therapy was truly life-changing for me. From the moment I had my brain map and started sessions, I noticed a real difference. After completing my sessions, I began doing noticeably better in school, something I hadn’t experienced before. It’s not an overnight fix, but if you stay consistent and committed, the results are absolutely worth it. Dr. Dody and the team made me feel supported throughout the process. It was an investment, but 100 percent worth the money. I would definitely return in the future to continue with neurofeedback therapy because it has made a huge impact on my focus and overall mental clarity. After participating in the NFB program I notice that I was able to identify when I got angry so much quicker then before but what was amazing is that I was able to reason where it was coming from and dissipate the feel so much quicker. Also I am able to learn new things easier and remember better.
