Don Bui

Robotic Pyeloplasty Success I have been seeing Dr. Bui at the Fountain Valley and Newport Beach locations of OC Urology Associates for 7 months to fix a uretural stricture. He has installed and removed a uretural stent and performed a Pyeloplasty operation using the DaVinci robot. I have been very impressed with Dr. Bui's knowledge, proficiency, and explanations. He has great concern for the patients comfort. I would recommend Dr Bui to a close family member.

Dr. Bui is terrific. He is full of positive energy. I have been there twice and have felt great time after leaving. He was patient and didn't interrupt while I was talking. I feel like I am in partnership with him regarding my health. Not just taking orders.

Ignores potential emergencies then terminates care Dr. Bui sent me a letter in which, not only did he not care to investigate the issue I outlined below, but stated 'I am withdrawing from your future medical care'. It is extremely sad that Dr. Bui cares so little about his patients that he would elect to send a form letter rather that fix a major problem that his practice created. Read on.Orange County Urology Associates only responds to texts and returns VMs, so when I had a urgent health concern, related to a medication prescribed by Bui, I was in trouble. I sent an urgent text explaining my situation and that I needed a response stat. 2 hrs later I received a msg saying my msg was received and a triage nurse would contact me. The NEXT DAY I still hadn’t heard from anyone so I texted back reminding them of my urgent issue. 24 hrs from my initial contact still no response. I called my Primary and got an immediate appt. They we so concerned they ordered bloodwork to check for clots and a stroke and a CT scan to check for aneurism.

Terrible!! Do not waste your time! His office and staff are terrible. I have been trying to fix my name and ultrasound order for 20 days. Doctor himself is more likely try to finish his visit asap. My visit did not take more than 2 minutes. No explanation and follow up questions and not try to focus to help you for your pain or issue.
