I was referred to Dr. Childs because I needed a surgeon to perform a minor procedure. He was pleasant, personable, and professional. Most importantly, he also cared about my needs. Although Dr. Childs could have completed the procedure that I saw him about, he felt that a more specialized procedure (that he does not perform) would be better for me. Rather than doing the procedure himself, he chose to send me to someone else, so that I could get the specialized care that would be best for me. I would confidently return to see Dr. Childs again if needed. I was quite comfortable with him and greatly appreciated his patient care.

The intake receptionist was so unnecessarily rude about insurance and masks that we are switching from all our Summa providers and going to Cleveland Clinic for all future services. She literally charged at me in the waiting room to tell me my cloth mask was not allowed. She yelled at and humiliated me in front of the whole waiting room. She took a hospital policy and used it to have some kind of power for the first time in her life I’m guessing. Even if you are enforcing a rule there needs to be courtesy and professionalism. I guess they don’t care if this low class person represents them in a negative way. We won’t use Dr. Childs as a result and I am sure she has lost many patients for him.
