Very caring .Spent as much time as it took to help me ,on my first visit.The Dr didn’t rush me.

My mom has been going to Dr. Kerekes for years and she referred him to me. Dr. Kerekes always takes to time to listen and has helped aid my gut back to health after severe gastritis. Excellent Gastroenterologist. Thank you Dr. Kerekes.

I have struggled for years with UC issues without any treatment plan that works until I met Dr. Kerekes. He is the BEST! He listens patiently, explains his recommendations and treatment plans clearly and genuinely cares about making me well. Together we work as a "team" with his office staff, in-house registered dietitian and treatment center and after years of dealing with these issues I can honestly say I feel the best I have in a long time! Met Dr Kerekes in December of 2015 through an insurance referral. He absolutely saved me from another year of misery from Diverticulosis by sending me to a general surgeon after reviewing my colonoscopy results. I had my surgery in February 2016 and for the first time in 10 years I have my life back! I am now seeing him for another issue I am having and I could not be more pleased with the results. Dr Kerekes explains everything in detail and his assistant Kathryn is amazing!

Dr. Erik Kerekes has a new practice in Newport Bch As a former patient of Dr. Erik Kerekes, I called his new Newport Beach practice. Initially, the staff set me up with a consultation appointment and possible treatment date, as I was seeking an emergency colonoscopy due to severe rectal bleeding. Then the door was slammed in my face and all appointments were cancelled, as his new practice does not accept Anthem BC Advantage- a massive full-pay medical insurance corporation that is accepted state-wide. I felt abused as I was treated as criminal trying to sneak into Dr. Kerekes office. This was the first time in 30 years that a doctor has refused my Anthem BC insurance. SAD, ANGRY and extremely disappointed with my former treating physician and his current practice setup. I thought he could have helped me with my serious medical condition.

Met Dr 5 yrs ago due to pain in abdomen/family hist. of Polyps.Advising I could feel something in abdomen, he informed me it wasn't possible a person could feel if they had polyps.After my persistence & his reluctance,I had a Colonoscopy.One Polyp found where I specified.2016 same pain went to Dr. He treated me as if I was not sound, stated the 1st find was a fluke & no one could feel Polyps.Told me watch diet & ordered an Ultrasound of wrong area. I had to go to another Dr who removed 2 Polyps.
