Gary Mccarter

I went to Dr McCarter about 3 years ago for a running injury, or rather my foot hurt so bad I couldn't run at all. I hobbled into his office, and within a 30 minute procedure I was pain free - almost instantly. That's what I like-a doctor who can diagnosis and treat in a short visit. The pain has never come back. I'm bringing my husband in this week because I know from experience that he's good.

Great doctors! Were able to get in same day to see Dr. Haupt! He and Dr. McCarter have great bedside manners. I was so happy they could see both my son for an ingrown toenail and my husband for a steroid shot for gout the same day! My husband was not in pain and finally able to walk. Dr. Haupt teaches at UCI and is very experienced. I am a physician and they are very efficient and charge less than another podiatrist we had gone too that had a lot of 5 star reviews. Don't worry about waits. If a doctor is good, there are always waits! Brought my husband back in for more shots for his gout and Dr. Haupt saved the day again! I am referring all my patients here!!

I have known Dr. McCarter for a long time. He has done two surgeries total, to fix the terrible job another orthopedic surgeon did on my feet. The surgery was a success 10 years ago on my right foot. This week I had surgery on my left foot; one more time Dr. McCarter had to fix the terrible job of the prior orthopedic. Dr. McCarter is not only an excellent surgeon, but he has a very nice personality, very personal, kind, an excellent profesional. Also his office staff are totally professional, kind, willing to help you in anyway you need. Dr. Mccarter and his staff are always ready to answer your questions to make sure you feel comfortable with the whole process. Three years ago, like I haven't had enough issues with all my feet, I broke my right foot. Dr. McCarter took care of me 100%. My husband now recommends Dr. McCarter to his own patients. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. MacArthur is an excellent physician his staff is wonderful he is very good doctor. I would highly recommend him for any foot issues.

I had a tiny painful mass removed from my heel and the Doc did a fabulous job 10 min removed it sewed it up and was good to go two weeks later removed stitches and two weeks after that it was great, no more pain. This is my first experience with Dr Mc Carter but he is truly a professional and knows exactly what he is doing and his assistant Karen is very professional as well extremely awesome at her job. If your feet are a bother go see Mc Carter! Ha ha no joke the very best!

I had a great experience with Dr McCarter. I was very scared as I had been having pain for awhile. He was gentle and caring. The staff was friendly and efficient. I am on the way to recovery.

The office is clean, the staff is friendly and efficient, and Dr. McCarter isskilled. He has made my feet heavenly, compared to the long standing sores. He had made a great orthotic made that I cannot live without. I am a fan.

Dr. McCarter was fantastic! The office was able to get me in right away on a Monday morning and he immediately identified the issue with my toe. He fixed it, got me a prescription, and sent me on my way in under an hour. His bedside manner was great - very knowledgeable and personable. I don't know what these other reviews are talking about, as I experienced nothing negative during my treatment by Dr. McCarter.

Saw Dr. McCarter about a Morton's neuroma last year. We went through the usual metatarsal pad use, then injections. Unfortunately, those methods didn't prove useful in my case. We opted for surgery on February 24th, 2016. It's now May 7th, and I know we made the right decision. Dr. McCarter was amazing through the entire process. The surgery went smoothly, recovery and follow up went very well. I am now pain free and would recommend Dr. McCarter to anyone experiencing the type of pain I had. No pain is so much better...

I recently had surgery with Dr Gary McCarter, DPM. His explanations were completely easy to understand. From my first office visit until my last post op visit 3/8/16, I received GREAT care. Surgical skill and bedside manner are 2 BIG things that I look for in a MD. Dr McCarter provided both to me. When I was impatient about the recovery time, he reminded me that the bones in our feet need time to heal. As a nurse I should know better. Would HIGHLY recommend.
