I contracted a fungal skin infection in Spring 2018 while living in Louisiana. Upon my return to Memphis, I was saw clinicians at Memphis Dermatology, Advanced Dermatology and Levy Dermatology but to no avail the rash/infection continued. In October 2020, I saw Dr. Woodbury who immediately looked at the my skin condition and said, "eczema and skin fungus." After 18 months, I had finally found a dermatologist who was not only knowledgeable but extremely concerned about the amount of time I had been suffering with this condition. He said, "I'm going to throw the kitchen sink at you because you've been suffering for a long time." After having been previously told folliculitis and/or that my condition was normal, Dr. Woodbury recognized the severity of my condition. After six weeks on antifungal medications, I had a relapse and called his office on a Thursday. Dr. Woodbury had me come in the next day (Friday) because he did not want me to suffer over the weekend. I can't express enough how pleased I am with Dr. Woodbury's care. The office professional and all aspects of your care are explained to your satisfactory. DO NOT waste time going to any other dermatologist in Memphis. I highly recommend this practice for any skincare related issues.
