Received all my referrals, even one out of network in a timely manner. Everyone was more than helpful, caring, and spent more than enough time explaining all my options. I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer (ductal carcinoma in situ) in September. My surgery took place in early January. I would have liked all the referrals to have happened faster, but considering I have an HMO, this is pretty standard. The procedure I had was IORT, which is still in trial. I was more than happy GTCIPA did approve of it, and hope they will be more open to faster approvals in the future for patients that meet the criteria for this procedure. Ladies, please be diligent about getting your annual mammograms. Early diagnosis is the key!

Absolutely horrible! Seems that in the last 5 months denying 90% of referrals. Cannot wait to get away from this carrier
