This is a lengthy post but it is long overdue. Especially after seeing the negative reviews. In 2018 I noticed my mother losing weight. She’d recently been diagnosed with diabetes and made a diet and lifestyle change. Weight loss was expected but not at the rate she was losing it. She scheduled an appointment with her PCP. She wasn’t able to see the doctor at that time so she met with the PA. She was told that if nothing was hurting her and she felt fine, all was ok and she should be worried. Basically her concerns were dismissed. This response didn’t sit right with me and I didn’t have a peace about it so I asked her to go to another doctor. That doctor was Gregory Borak. Dr. Borak who is her gastroenterologist. He took the time out to hear my mother’s concerns and listen to what she was experiencing. He order at CT scan. I thank God that he did! If not for Dr. Borak’s compassion, thoroughness, and willingness to listen to his patient, my mother may not be here right now. The scan revealed a pancreatic mass. The blessing is that was stage one. Within three weeks of visiting Dr. Borak, my mother had successful surgery to remove the tumor. By God’s Grace, three years later she is still here. The staff in his office have been nothing short of kind, professional, and compassionate. I am believer that angels walk this earth. Dr. Borak was my family’s angel. Pancreatic cancer is a silent and deadly killer. I am beyond thankful for Dr. Borak and his staff. Pancreatic cancer didn’t win this time!
