My son was sent to dr griffin w/a preliminary report (CT scan & ultrasound) from the ER dr at Coalinga Hosp, who alluded to liver cancer. After almost an hour wait, never explained the diagnosis...dr Griffin only prescribed morphine & anti nausea meds and sent him home, saying a "specialist" from Hanford Adventist Hosp would call....it took 6 days for a call and 8 days for an appt. Altho' liver cancer is suspected, the call my son received was from a internal medicine dr NOT an oncologist! Why is he being given the run around.. no medical care.. no compassion.. dr still has not signed the SDI form to help his family while off work.
