Wow, where do I even start?! I was looking to have a breast lift with implants after having a baby and breastfeeding. I have always had a large chest but after breastfeeding, my breast were flat saggy pancakes, with one of my breasts being two sizes bigger than the other. I just didn’t feel confident in how I looked, and I just wanted to feel myself again. I did tons of research, look at millions of photos and went to multiple consultations. When I went into Dr. Guerra’s office, Melissa greeted me with a smile and checked me right in. Then I was taken into a consultation room, minutes later Dr. Guerra came in with a smile and he was so friendly and warm. He was so in-depth with how he would help me. He drew on me and showed me where every cut would be and explained how he would get me my desired look. I can’t even imagine how many consultations he does, but I never felt rushed or like I’m just another consultation. He made me feel so comfortable and EXCITED. He talked for about 30 minutes and then answered all my questions. After meeting Dr. Guerra, I knew he was the doctor I wanted to go with! I confirmed a surgery date a few days after my consultation. Then I had my final consultation to confirm sizing and any questions. The office sent over all my prescriptions and I was ready to go. The day of surgery was the best I could imagine. The Mesa surgery center was outstanding and clean, I checked in without a problem and was rolled back. I saw Dr. Guerra before surgery, he marked me up again and made sure I felt comfortable and I knew each step that was about to happen. The only surgery I have ever had was a C-section, so I was very nervous at first. I can’t even describe how amazing all the nurses were, they were just talking to me like we were best friends. They rolled me into the surgery room and then I was out. I woke up and I just felt like I had a lot of pressure on my chest and did an insane chest workout. I never felt pain or sick just soreness. After the first three days, the soreness was gone, I felt like nothing happened. I never felt any pain the whole time and I still had feeling in both of my breast. I was so amazed and I’m still in disbelief. I am 1-month post-surgery and I am so HAPPY with the results! I have had a few follow up appointments, and everything has been going well and looks great. My scars are already so minimal. I’m African American, so I thought my scars would be dark and thick. Not at all, they are smooth and light and I’m so grateful for that. My post appointments have been great, I’m in and out within 15 minutes and get to see Dr. Guerra every time and he always has a big smile and makes sure I am satisfied with his work. Elective surgery is a big deal and I’m so grateful to have such an amazing experience with Dr. Guerra and his staff. I would go back to him in a heartbeat.
