had a toe amputated in July (and another one last year). I saw a Dr. Prince Uzoije on Sept 26, a doctor chosen by Alabama Medicaid Agency to be my primary care provider. I told him that I needed to get something for the pain in my foot and he said he doesn't write prescriptions for pain. when I explained how severe it was he still refused so I asked "what am I supposed to do be a criminal and get homemade drugs like meth-amphetamines, crack cocaine or heroin or something" he then said, "If that's what you have to do."I have never known of a doctor who condones a patient self medicating particularly with illegal street drugs.so I'm going to get a new doctor.but it's OK he'll still get his paycheck and continue to MIStreat people.I don't know, maybe that's how they do things in the country he's from.
