Edit: I've stayed with the office & things have improved for me. I haven't had issues getting in & when sick, they offer tele-health visits. I'm giving more stars now because Dr. Newburg does respect patient choices, has been seeing me in a timely manner during my visits, & is very personable. Tbh, nothing outstanding has come to my attention & it's been pretty basic care / advice. Plus, even though my partner doesn't usually accompany me during my visits, it's a big deal to know that the office does allow him in with me. *end edit*Want to pay an OB office without ever seeing an OBGYN? Want to continuously get your appointments rescheduled by the office staff? This is the office for you! Three times they've rescheduled or attempted to reschedule me & I'm only in my second trimester. The first time, I got rescheduled with an NP & it sounded like the doc had a surgery coming up on my scheduled day. The 2nd time, they schedule me, then call back days before saying for unknown reason, the doctor won't be in the office that day & reschedule me. Then I get a call asking if I can reschedule again... though this time it is not mandatory, it's just going to be an "extra long wait since she's booked up that day". Very unprofessional. They are the ones doing the scheduling. Why is this constantly an issue? In addition to this, I receive a bill for a potential estimate with a billing phone number listed. I call that number, get told no, not here & transfered. Again told, not here, here's the real number. Call that number, get told, not here, call the first number you called...& tell them that it IS them. I do, then get told to call the OBGYN office directly. I do. I got the number for billing & end up in the same place! Hang up, call the office directly again. They check with the office manager who says I can pay that bill in office. If it's only for the office & nothing to do with billing (?), because billing has zero clue about this letter, then why do they provide the wrong phone number? I spent 65 minutes getting the run around just to find out about the letter with due date for money owed, yet not service rendered. It's just so unprofessional & disappointing.
