Heather Elizabeth Holden

I see Dr. Heather Holden through novant. I HIGHLY recommend her. I actually saw a different rheumatologist before her and they listened terribly and pacified me. (I don’t want to put anyone down so I am choosing not to broadcast the name). I thankfully got switched to dr Holden and it was life changing. She found things the other doctor hadn’t and not only got me a proper diagnosis she also referred me to an awesome physical therapist who specializes in hyper mobility disorders like mine.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Holden. Casey took me back for vitals about 10 minutes prior to my appointment time. She was very professional, thorough, and followed COVID-19 guidelines with her hand washing and opening drawers. Dr. Holden entered within 5 minutes of my appointed time. She was very friendly, thorough, and thoughtful. She spent a good amount of time listening and asking appropriate questions. Instead of the usual answers, she provided different ideas/insight into my condition. She took the time to review years of notes and X-rays I brought with me. She was quick with her notes on my test results, as well as follow up questions I submitted the next day. I believe I am in good hands with Dr. Holden.

Dr. Holden is both knowledgeable and approachable. She takes the time to explain medical issues, answers questions and discusses treatment options.

Dr. Holden is an incredibly kind, thorough, patient and wise physician. She listened to each of my concerns and gave me detailed answers. She is VERY knowledgeable in her field and knew just what to look for when it came to my case. She found things that other doctors had missed and explained what she was doing, step by step, while examining me. I didn't have to wait long to see her (maybe a few mins past my appt time, if that) and she spent a good amount of time with me. I didn't feel rushed at all. All of her staff members were equally kind. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Holden and her staff. If you are looking for a rheumatologist I definitely suggest trying to see her!

Dr Holden is a fantastic Dr. she listens to her patients and doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to get out and on to the next patient. I would totally recommend her

Dr. Heather Holden is professional, knowledgeable, caring and generous with her time. During appointments, she listens and asks questions that let me know she is hearing what I say, and thinking of every possible solution. She explained all the new policies regarding controlled pain medications, which I am certain many of her patients are prescribed. She does not make me feel like an addict for requesting a reasonable dosage, given my pain level. She does encourage a gradual reduction, if I ever feel that I may not need as much help, in the future. This shows she is a responsible doctor, who wants only the best for her patients. If you, or someone you care about is in need of a Rheumatologist, I am sorry that is the case, but rest assured Dr. Holden will provide the care needed to minimize joint damage and suffering, while maximizing quality of life.

This doctor is awesome! She's very thorough, and she listens to what you are saying. Takes the time to make a proper diagnosis.

Dr. Holden was the best doctor I ever had. She cares so much for her patients. Well that's the feeling I got from her. I don't know why she dropped me as a patient and gave me to another doctor less caring. It's going to be hard to find another Doctor like her. I'm definitely not feeling the new doctor. So my search for another rheumatoid doctor is in progress.
