Excellent Doctor My wife and I recently had eye exams by Dr. Shivitz. He is an outstanding ophthalmologist. Before retiring, my wife worked in the field, and she was extremely impressed with the thoroughness of the exam, Dr. Shivitz's expertise, and the fact he took the time to explain all aspects of our eye health. Dr. Shivitz was highly recommended. I can see why. His staff is also extremely competent, friendly, and courteous.

He literally saved my eye sight. Very professional and takes time to explain every detail that is going on with your problem. His office staff makes you feel special and treats you with dignity and politeness. A great experience - with kindness and this is shown throughout the office.

Excellent experience. If you want a really good solid Ophthalmologist, Dr. Shivitz is the one. I am nearly blind in one eye so having only one, i'm very particular about eye doctors. He's excellent!

I called Dr, Shivitz office in Franklin as a new patient in an emergency situation. Kara, one of his assistance immediately put my mind at ease and she was able to get me in to see the Doctor within the hour. I can honestly say in my 57 years I have never been treated so well by a Doctor and his staff. Dr. Shivitz is a professional class act. He was able to diagnose my issue and put me on an immediate treatment plan for my eyes after a very thorough examination. He is very kind, caring and easy to talk to and I never felt rushed by him or anyone in the office. I highly recommend Dr. Shivitz and his office to anyone that may need Ophthalmology treatment or services. Thank you!

I went with a friend of mine today for his first visit to a Doctor of Ophthalmology. I absolutely love how Dr. Shivitz listened to every word my friend said, and did not dismiss anything as trivial. I watched his face, and knew that he was really listening to what he was saying. That's why I have been a patient of his for many years. He is just an exceptional doctor! We would also like to give a "shout out" to the sweet lady from Venezuela who did the exam for Javier. She was just precious and is a huge asset to the staff.

Dr. Shivitz is a tremendous ophthalmologist....the best ever. His staff member Seth took care of me today and was so meticulous and thorough. I have never had a nurse give such specific detail and care....as well as excellent demeanor. He was truly awesome!
