I had the cataract surgery LenSx with Dr Mac and I am very grateful for his excellent skills and this procedure. I was in and out in an hour andI could do it in their Center, No hospitals! He communicates and listens extremely well through out the procedure. Dr. Mac and staff were very precise and followup was also excellent. After surgery I could see better when I was twenty. The best part I don't have to wear glasses, for distance or near. I am so happy with the process/results that I have told everyone I know about it.

Understanding making you feel comfortable and relaxed during examines. I have never liked the eye examines which means putting drops or anything near my eyes. I was terrified of having the pressure taken in my eyes, but he was completely understanding and very patient with me. Telling me what he was doing and "talking me through it.

I am new in the area and needed to find a new ophthalmologist. I chose Metrolina Eye Associates based on location. The first time I met Dr Mac I felt very comfortable with him. He was so easy to talk to. As he explained the lasik surgery I felt very confident that I would be in good hands. I also did my own research on his credentials and was even more impressed. Dr Mac did cateract and I-stent surgery In both of my eyes. He is an excellent doctor and surgeon who cares what is best for his patients. He sat down with me prior to my surgery and took extra time to explain everything in detail and answered the many questions I had. Everything happened exactly like he said and I am extremely thankful and satisfied with my results. My vision is excellent and no need for glasses. I highly recommend Dr Mac to anyone needing cateract surgery.
