Dr. Beisel was terrific. I have some special eyesight issues, and he was recommended to me as my new regular optometrist by a retina specialist. He was thorough, took the time to address my issues, and NAILED my difficult "computer glasses" script! Also, he was very kind and professional.

Dr Beisel did an awesome job removing an eyelash that was poking my eye today. The office was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and professional and Dr Beisel was as well. I am SO happy we have this option on the island. Thank you!

1. I was dilated without any previous explanation, nor my consent. I ended up having to drive a motorcycle with very limited vision. 2. my husband was given a prescription for contact and one for glasses. Filled the glasses at the doctor office. Filled the glasses one at Costco and had very severe discomfort. The two prescriptions were very very different. When he called to ask to see the doctor to fix the prescription he was told not for a couple of months. Went to a different doctor who checked the glasses made at Costco, they were made according to Dr. Beisel prescription, but the prescription was terribly wrong. Absence of patient consent and not owning to a mistake nor trying to repair to it, makes a very concerning combination.

Office staff defined “obstruction”. They made ever effort to make a new relationship difficult. With so many great options here in Savannah, just send your business elsewhere!

Absolutely terrible. Gave wrong contact prescription, and wrong contact brand. Left me waiting over 2 hours in a dark room because they forgot I was there. Wouldn't sign multiple faxes for my prescription eye drops to be delivered.Do not go see this doctor. He will waste your time.

Not a very caring doctor. His wait times were very long and it was almost like he forgot I was even there. His staff also seems confused most of the time.
