Dr. DeStephens is hands down the best physician in Gainesville. I moved here from Orlando, and I know that most Any other doctor would have just handed me pills and sent me on my way. He has incredible chiropractic knowledge and will give you real solutions to the root of the problem. Thank goodness I found him and was able to be seen the same day. He literally fixed my tension migraine that had been going for 4 days with his magic hands. 10/10 would highly recommend. He has great bedside manner and amazing knowledge. Wish there were more doctors like him!! and his assistant Chad was super helpful and kind as well. If you can make him your primary care physician, do so at once! I’ll never go see any other doctor as long as I live in Gainesville.

Best doctor in town.

He has been my primary care physician for nearly 5 yrs. I dealt with cardiologists and orthopaedists for close to 35 years. The essence of non-invasive medicine is diagnosis. He listens attentively, extends the visit until he has accumulated the pertinent information and solves the puzzle. He is a simply superb diagnostician.

I've been a patient of Dr. DeStephens for over 17 years and he is like no other doctor I've ever seen before. He spends as much time as needed to discuss any and all health issues. He takes the time to explain information in great detail. Also, Chad his PA is awesome and is always willing to help in any way he can.

Am always stunned by complaints about bedside manner and brusque manner. Have worked in operating rooms for 35 years and know the difference between those who can and those who pretend they can. When your health goes sideways there is no substitute for skill, intelligence, insight and knowledge. Destephens is simply one of those who can. A great puzzle solver and that, in the end, is what the high end of diagnostic art and science is all about. Trust him completely.

If he sometimes seems disinterested or detached during your visit he is simply processing information and piecing the puzzle together. A good guy who spends time with his patients and listens. A first class physician.

It’s been almost 20 years since I first drew Dr. Destephens a picture to thank him for saving my grandpa with ECP. Ten years later when my father starting exhibiting the same symptoms we knew exactly what was needed, ECP.I recently got married and am very happy to say that I was able to dance with both my father and my grandfather at my wedding. I truly believe that without ECP treatments both of them would’ve passed away years ago. Thank you for giving my family the gift of time. This dance is a memory that I will always cherish.
