Dr. Boyd did my left knee surgery almost 5 years ago. I am still doing great thanks to him. He is a kind, compassionate man and a very skilled surgeon. I would highly recommend him. We have quite a few choices in our small community but I will continue to go to him anytime.

Dr. Boyd is extremely professional, knowledgeable and knows how to relate to his patients and their family. He is a compassionate and dedicated health care provider that does a stellar job. I can't praise his outstanding performance enough. Thank you Dr. Boyd for all you did for our family during a very critical time. High five to you and Erica. OUTSTANDING

Great doctor thorough on information

James Boyde has the most terrible bedside manner I have ever experienced with any medical professional. He has no empathy whatsoever towards his patients. He was absolutely rude to me since my initial surgery. Out of desperation, I proceeded with the procedure. He thought it was wise to send me home with unsealed incisions, and when they opened, my flesh was coming out of the wound. When I returned to the hospital he was annoyed and just wanted to put steri strips over my hanging flesh and became upset when I asked for him to seal them. I was shocked of how he was treating me and his use of foul language was absolutely inappropriate. Mr. Boyde shoved my flesh back into the open wound and GLUED it. He finally at the end gave me antibiotic NO emergency number to call like all other surgeons do.. Never once did I see a smile on this man's face or was greeted by him. Now i have to go back to another surgeon to fix what he did to me. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MAN AS YOUR SURGEON.

It took me over a month to get an appointment with Dr. Boyd. I was shown into the exam room and there I sat for almost an hour with no communication whatsoever. I boiled over and left. There's got to be other orthopedists that treat their patients in a more professional manner than this.
