I have been seeing Dr. Burns for over three years. Recently, I had laser cataract surgery. He did an outstanding job and I am having excellent results. Dr. Burns exams and surgery are always explained in clear detail , and precisely completed. I strongly recommend Dr. Jason Burns for all your eye needs.

Dr. Burns is not just knowledgeable but has a great heart. He went out of his scope and made sure I got an appointment with a neurosurgeon in less than a day since I needed immediate help (I had an appointment scheduled for 2 weeks later). I would definitely recommend Dr. Burns. The staff (especially Aurora) at Medical Center Ophthalmology Associates were very friendly and absolutely empathetic. It definitely showed that patients are their first priority.

This was the most helpful doctor visit ever! I was very nervous about having LASIK surgery, but Dr. Burns took the time to talk with me and calm my nerves. I am very happy with my vision now, and cannot thank him enough. Everyone should go to him for LASIK!

Isn't very friendly and by that I mean he doesn't have patience with explaining a procedure and will get annoyed. He does come of as well educated though which is a good thing and he knows what he's doing. But I feel I had another choice I would pick someone else.

Back in 2011 I went to Dr Burns as he was an approved opthomologist on my WellMed insurance. I had previously (1983) had RK surgery, which Dr Burns was not familiar with, and he told me he had not done cataract surgery on someone with RK scarring. Rather than research the different technique used for cataract surgery in former RK patients, he used standard procedure, which tore my cornea. When he sutured my cornea, he built in an astigmatism. Furthermore, I was emphatic that I wanted near vision with the replacement lens. Because of the astigmatism, I have neither near nor distance vision that is correctable to 20/20. I hope he has improved since then, but former RK patients, be aware.
