I've been seeing Dr Behar for over 10 years. I switched from another podiatrist who never solved my issue. Dr Behar not only diagnosed my condition correctly, but took the time to explain it to me. I have a lifelong nerve disorder and now I know it and what to do about it. His office staff is the BEST!!! Highly recommend.

Dr Behar is SO NICE! He is so personable and has a great bedside manner. I hurt my foot and he is getting me taken care of and is wasting no time! I actually look forward to going back!

I recently had to change podiatrists. I was given a list of nearby podiatrists who were recommended along with a wink and nod about Dr. Behar. No trouble making an appointment. I arrived on time. By the time I completed the routine paperwork I was called in. I hit it off immediately from the minute he came in. He was very thorough, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I intend to continue under his care.

I've always found Dr Behar to be very thorough & knowledgeable for my care. But besides this, he was very compassionate & patient when my husband had brain cancer & suffered the effects of chemo. Most of his body was racked with pain yet when his feet needed care, Dr Behar was so gentle in touching him. My husband felt no discomfort at all. Plus Dr Behar had patience in listening to him when language escaped him at times. I wouldn't use any other podiatrist.

I’ve been going to Dr. Behar for four years. I have nothing but the highest praise for him. Dr. Behar always takes the time to look over and discuss my glucose charts, and asks me if there are any questions. He also always reminds me that he is my doctor, and to come into the office if I have need to. The staff at Stony Brook Orthopedic is also wonderful; very courteous and very professional. It is for these reasons that I always look forward to my appointments at Stony Brook Orthopedic.

Dr Behar is everything you could possibly want in a doctor. Smart. Extremely knowledgeable. Compassionate. Excellent bedside manner. His office staff is simply great too. He is a total Rock Star!

I went to Dr Behar as a second opinion and was the best decision I made. He is very polite, understanding and patient which is number one in my book! and Most of all he solved my foot pain! His staff is wonderful!!

Dr.Behar and his office staff are amazing! He helped my daughter with her tendon from cross country injury. My son with his warts from swim team pool. I would highly recommend Dr.Behar

his front desk is awful. no communication, no willingness to work and do their job. refuse to ever call again or refer anyone no matter how good the doctor may be. if your front desk is capable of being this awful, no point in ever calling.
