I am forever grateful to Dr. Ngatchou for giving me a life. As a type 2 diabetic, I was starting to experience some of the complications of diabetes at a young age. Dr. Ngatchou suggested a gastric sleeve and referred me to an amazing surgeon in Everett who helped me. I am down nearly 45 lbs, reversed my diabetes, and am happy with a 2nd chance at watching my kids grow up. He is a knowledgeable doctor who is up to date on the research surrounding diabetes and I appreciate that.

Dr. Nya Ngatchou is an excellent doctor. He has helped me get over two illnesses by working with me to modify my medications for type 2 diabetes. At first I was not used to his no nonsense, this is how it is, approach to my health issues but soon grew to greatly appreciate his care and desire for me to be at my best health. I trust him completely.

Listened carefully to my concerns; discussed possible causes of my symptoms; ordered two tests (one probably more to assure me that this wasn't my issue) and the other showed very low iron. Advised me when to take the iron so it didn't interfere with my synthroid. He is very knowledgeable but listens first. A keeper!

Dr Nya Ngatchou was very professional and knowledgeable about diabetes. I was recently diagnosed and he was so patient with my concerns and questions. He really listened to me and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Dr Nya Ngatchou to family and friends.

Dr N is a very nice doctor. He takes the time to answer all of your questions and help you make the right decisions for your diabetes care. Very good and personable doctor.

Worst expierence with an on call doctor. Called twice to have him paged, he NEVER called back. Called a 3rd time to get his info to leave a review. Very unprofessional to not call someone back when on call...... that is your job. Thank you for letting me know by showing that you don't care about patients, that I should NEVER choose YOU as an endo specialist.

This guy is the worst doctor I’ve ever met, and as an RN for the last 20 years, I’ve met a lot. I could tell the moment he shook my hand like a cold noodle, that he wasn’t a compassionate person or interested in helping me. I was referred to him by another Everett Clinic MD for low thyroid (documented), but not only did this guy refuse to do ANY testing whatsoever, he only told me to download LoseIt, and exercise more (I’m a marathon runner). He then offered me a prescription appetite suppressant. Talk about offensive. I would not send my dog to him.

Although patient came in with classic severe thyroiditis symptoms Dr told patient her symptoms were not associated with thyroid problems. However, another medical professional was stunned that this doctor ignored the symptoms and thyroid antibodies test. He only looked at results of the TSH and T4. He needs more training. Do not recommend.

If I could give him 0 stars I would, please go with anybody else. I had a difficult time getting him to listen to the factors that affect my diabetes and quite frankly he made me feel uncomfortable for seeking help. I declined what he described as an optional nutrition class, which we discussed, and later found out he refused to refill any of my prescriptions (*urgent* insulin) due to a "required" class. It was sickening to say the least.
