Dr. Pearch is a wonderful psychiatrist. Most people have no idea how the mental health system works before entering it. I’ve called him Dr. Prudent to my family for the past year now, as he is not a pill-pushing psychiatrist. He’s very considerate of the negative side effects of a medication and will take time to carefully observe you. This may feel like they don’t care, but psychiatrists simply don’t have the time to listen like counselors do. The front desk staff is also amazing. I’m not sure why people are saying they are rude and mean, but I have been a patient for just over two years and have only had great experiences. Understanding the system is crucial. There are too many people needing help to reschedule intake appointments— no psych office will let you do that. Everyone wants medicated because they need help— but he is not superhuman and he cannot diagnose in two appointments. Finally, if you believe that Dr. Pearch isn’t listening to you, I strongly encourage you to speak to your therapist about it. Therapy and psychiatry are separate domains that work together. Therapy is the patient-talks portion and psychiatrists tend to do more talking and shorter appointments. Of course though, any employee at that office will extend an appointment for a patient in crisis.

Dr. Pearch is one of the most caring concerned doctor I have every seen...IN ANY FIELD!! He is concerned with every aspect of your life that you are willing to share (never pushy) that might be that missing piece of the puzzle. His goal is to give you the best quality of life possible. He listens to you ..NOT AT YOU.. Dr.Pearch has pointed things out to me that I both needed to hear and was unaware I self sabatoging myself. He does all thIs quietly and in a non judgmental way. Take that step..Take that chance. He will change your life for the better. He's been a God send.5 stars for sure.

Front desk staff are rude and mean.

If you want a doctor who starts you on medicine, then decides to take you off of it. My daughter was on anxiety medicine for almost a year and one day she called to get a refill and they said he no longer is going to prescribe that medication. She went thru very bad withdrawals. His staff is rude on the phone and in person. I suggest if you need a psychiatrist. find someone who gives a care about your well being.
