Dr York came high recommended by a therapist of mine. I called about information on a sleep study and was surprised to get a quick response with the reviews here. They were super helpful and informative, even though my insurance isn't accepted they took the time to answer all of my questions.

I was referred to Dr. York to have a test done to check for carpal tunnel. I found Dr. York very personable and knowledgeable. She asked me a lot of questions about my hand, wrist and fingers and she was not at all in a rush. I had questions for her as well as she answered them exceptionally well. When reviewing the test results with me she did so in a manner I understood, not talking above my head. If possible I would rate Dr. York 10 ?'s! I would highly recommend Dr. York to family and friends.

Does a great job! After moving here from Dallas, and having partial success with CPAP treatment, she made proper adjustments to my settings and got my AHI down to 1.9 from 7 or 8. I feel much better now. Don't know what others are talking about regarding being turned away after having already seen another sleep doctor. I had no problems when I moved here. They are a small office, so I understand that it takes awhile for them to get back with me.

I have been seeing Dr. York for a little over a year. And while her diagnosis of ALS a year ago was certainly not what I had hoped for, her knowledge and kind, compassionate care during the past year has made my journey much less daunting. I would highly recommend her.

I can't speak highly enough of this entire office. Dr. York and her nurse Ashley fought tooth and nail to help me get the medication I needed (and had been taking for years) when my insurance company denied me. Ashley and Dr. York care so much about improving patients' quality of life. That is what matters most to them.

So far, so good. The only complaint I have is that I hate using yet again one more portal. However, they were expedient with me and helpful. Also, Dr. York never seems rushed in an appt, so I feel her level of care is good. It's a sleepy (no pun intended) small office, so be it.

I first saw Dr. York for an EMG+. I was so impressed by her obvious knowledge and how articulate she was in explaining her findings - all dispensed with sincere empathy that I could both feel & see via her direct eye contact as she delivered news that might have seemed worse coming from a physician not so kind and thoughtful as she. While there, I learned she also diagnoses & treats sleep disorders & have been seeing her for that ever since. She & her staff are wonderful, thorough & very kind.

I have seen Dr. York since 1998 when I first came to Austin. She is kind, patient, hardworking, and super competent. Hard to go wrong here if you need a neurologist.

Excellent doctor. Knows her stuff. Very thorough...chronic pain has been in check for several years with medication Dr. York prescribed. Staff is very friendly and courteous. They handle scheduling, following ups, referrals and dealing with the insurance company. All you have to do is show up and they handle the rest. Also very impressed with Dr. York because she remained sole proprietor of her clinic even though she had to deal with massive paperwork due to Obamacare. Kudos to you Dr. York..!!!
