Good Doctor

Please note, Dr. Burgy has moved her office to Lake Murray Blvd.. Very nice and very clean. She and her entire staff very friendly and caring. Getting an appt. Easy and hardly any wait time once there. I had two spots removed.. She was very gentle and had immediate feedback on biopsy..would recommend her to anyone.....

Dr. Burgy is an excellent physician. She and her office staff are very efficient and courteous. I am very pleased with every aspect of my experience at this office and with Dr. Burgy.

I went in for a body check as my sister has Melanoma. Dr. Burgy looked at me for all of 1 minute, and not everywhere as I expected since Melanoma isn't confined to places the sun can hit. When I asked should I remove all my cloths she said 'why do you have something I need to look at?' How would I know, that's her job, I don't know what I'm looking for. I also had some bumps frozen off and one didn't come off. I went back to do it again and told them if they were going to charge me for refreezing that one I had other bumps to freeze off (freezing 1 or 5 bumps is the same cost). I was told I wouldn't get charged by Dr. Burgy. Then I did get charged and had to pay again. On top of all that the bump is still here.

She misdiagnosed squamous cell cancer. She thought it was pre-cancer. Thankfully, I had the sense to seek out another dermatologist who did a skin biopsy (which she refused to do as unnecessary). I underwent surgery to remove the cancer. I cannot and will not recommend Dr. Burgy.

Dr. Burgy misdiagnosed my squamous cell cancer. Luckily for me, I didn’t agree with her diagnosis and went to a different dermatologist where he did a skin biopsy (she refused as unnecessary). Came back as squamous cell. Had surgery to remove cancer. I could have had a very different outcome had I listened to Dr. Burgy. Will not recommend to anyone.

My father is now going to a wound clinic because of her incompetence. I would not recommend this quack to my worst enemy. My warning to anyone who reads this.
