Dr Steelman is a great listener and really cares about his patients.

Dr Steelman actually diagnosed and treated my children 20 years ago. He also was a factor in me choosing to change from dental assisting/hygiene to Nursing (along with the PICU nurse). My kids and I have never forgotten the impact Dr Steelman made at a scary and new changing time for us. He was caring and professional and his research and intelligence was bar none top notch. His integrity was unquestionable. My kids are healthy adults now with their own families and manage their Type 1 diabetes (and daughter thyroid disease) well. My kids were diagnosed four months apart . Dr Steelman did research to find out if their was genetic link . My ex husband and I found out we did not have the gene. While it was good to know I didn’t have the link, it also gave me comfort to know I didn’t give my kids this disease that changed how they managed health. Not enough great things to say about Dr Steelman. We left Nashville due to military obligations a year prior to Dr Steelman. We never forgot the care and education he blessed our family with that allowed us to care and educate them and others for life long health and free to live life.

He is a wonderful doctor! I feel like he saved my life and I will never forget what he did for me.

Friendly, goes over everything so that my 14 year old understands everything with her health.
