I saw Dr. Nelson for the first time at the VBF Super Clinic last weekend. Dr. Nelson was very personable and knowledgeable about vascular birthmarks. I received my first laser treatment and he provided me with a treatment plan to continue addressing my particular issues. I feel that he is top-notched and very trustworthy to do the very best possible for every patient.

Dr. Nelson is so knowledgeable about vascular birthmarks and has the best available lasers. He is kind and experienced. We travel to see him from Arizona and he has been treating my son for years.

I've been seeing Dr. Nelson for 3 years now for regular pulse-dye laser treatments on my facial Port Wine Stain (PWS). Unlike other doctors I have seen, Dr. Nelson is an expert not just on treating PWS on a cosmetic level, but he also understands the physiology/underlying medical causes and effects, which makes a huge difference in the quality and comprehensiveness of the treatment. Dr. Nelson is incredibly skilled at what he does and takes the utmost precaution during the treatments while still ensuring significant results. He also always uses the most cutting edge laser technology that is available on the market. My PWS has significantly lightened from seeing Dr. Nelson and I plan to continue going to him several times a year to maintain it.

Dr. Nelson is an excellent choice for a healthcare provider. His skills and bedside manner are second to none. He is a great listener and cares for each and every one of his patients. We always have a pleasant appointment each time we visit his clinic. I highly recommend him.

Dr Nelson is a highly knowledgeable and excellent physician.

I went to Dr. Nelson at the Beckman Laser Institute to have my venus lake removed on my lip. At a $95.00 initial appointment, he told me it would only cost $150.00. In early December, 2017, I got a bill from UCI for $150.00 for the procedure which I paid. Then he told me it would be $431.00. It has been 3 weeks since the procedure and if anything it is larger. Now I just received a bill for $600.41 less $291.00 for what I don't know. So I am now to pay $350.00 to UC Irvine Health. Amazing!
