Great bedside manner, friendly, builds good report Dr. Rush is one of my favorite doctors. I originally went to him for a 'sick' visit as my primary doctor had no availability. I was unsure about a male gynecologist. However, I found him very personable with a great bedside manner. I then switched to him as my primary GYN. On more than one occasion he was so good at putting me at ease and visiting during annual exams that I thought he'd forgotten to do my breast exam. He said he had and then his nurse confirmed. He had me so focused on what we were visiting about that he completely distracted me from the 'awkward' parts of the appointment. He truly cares about his patients, and I highly recommend him!!

He was the doctor of my wife during her pregnancy. We were assured and felt confident after each visit to him. He explained all the process and answered all of our questions thoroughly. He is very friendly and good doctor. He visited us after my wife's delivery in the hospital which is a nice gesture from him. I am glad that we found him as our prenatal doctor.

Personable, caring, and engaging

I would highly recommend Dr.Rush! I met him delivering my son via Emergency C-Section which was quite traumatic for me, but all I remember was his ability to calm me down and talk me through the whole procedure making me feel like I still am in control. Now I am 38 weeks on Friday with my baby girl due soon and of course Dr. Rush is in plan for this delivery :) pray that he's the one on call when I go into labor!!!

I was very impressed with Dr. Rush's knowledge of auto-immune illnesses and their correlation to my gyn issues. He's easy to talk to, and he explains everything in detail. I left my former doctor that I used for 17 years because I felt Dr. Rush was more up-to-date with newer techniques and professional knowledge.

He recommended hormones for me during peri-menopause… I didn’t do well on them and when I called to possibly get an antidepressant because of my reaction to the hormones, I was told I needed to seek counseling via the nurse (he didn’t personally speak to me). The only thing that had changed was the hormones he put me on. Needless to say, I went off the hormones and I am now fine.
