Karl Szafranski

Dr. Karl became my mother's doctor when her previous physician no longer took her Medicare insurance. My mom is 95 years of age and has been diagnosed with late onset dementia. She is not always the easiest person to talk with, but Dr. Karl is amazing! He truly takes his time with her to understand her issues. He is so patient with Mom and always shows nothing but respect. My husband and I are very grateful for his care. Another noteworthy thing is his concern for us and how we are doing, knowing we are my Mom’s primary caregivers. This kind of care and concern is worth its weight in gold.

Dr Karl Szafranski is one of the most caring and patient doctors ever! He has been taking care of my my mother for years and she absolutely loves him. He takes the time to talk to his patients and truly learn about them and their medical needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Karl to anyone looking for quality medical care.

1 st time wellness visit with Dr Szafranski . He listens and explains everything well.Very pleased with him and the time he spent with my exam, labs, and prescriptions. The Rns here are super helpful especially Emily. Ultra modern new facility. My wife will be coming in this week for her 1 st exam with the Dr also, as our previous Dr moved to the Northside and Dr Karl was recommended to us.

Dr Karl is a VERY compassionate doctor. I don’t ever feel rushed during my appointments and he makes me feel like he truly cares about me.

Dr. Szafranski is wonderful. He saw my elderly father on several occasions and was so patient, kind caring, and thorough. My mother and I were very impressed and truly believe he cares about his patients.

Dr Karl is a gem. In today’s world of giant medical groups that are like an impersonal assembly line, Dr. Karl takes the time to make one feel like the patient is part of the solution. He is a throwback to the days of the old time family doctor while also being up on the latest advancements in family medicine. I could not recommend him more.

Dr. Karl genuinely cares about me, even to the extent of checking in with my issues via email. Couldn't ask for a better, more exceptional, professional physician and assistant.

So far I've had nothing short of an amazing experience here. Dr. Szafranski is easy to understand, compassionate, and very down to Earth. I felt no condescending tone as I explained to him that I had not been to a dr in years, despite clearly needing to do so. Instead he simply worked with me and got me back on a path I'm comfortable with and back to better health. As far as PCP's go, he's young. This is a good thing for me, as that means he probably won't retire on me in the near future! He uses the MyChart web functionality. This enabled me to report directly to him when I had a bad reaction to a med he prescribed. He got back to me within hours and sent over a new medication to replace it immediately. His assistant was also amazing. I wish I had caught her name appropriately, but I'm fairly bad at that. She came in to draw blood for some standard tests. I'm a very fat guy, I have decent veins but with my weight it's still easy to miss them. In all my years, it was the best stick I've ever had. Zero pain, perfect, dead center, and not even a bruise afterwards. It was so impressive that I made sure to compliment her directly afterwards.

He is an absolutely wonderful doctor, he genuinely cares for his patients. I recommend him to anyone seeking a doctor!
