I have been seeing Dr. Darvin for a number of years and have been very happy. He is very knowledgeable, takes time to answer any questions I have, and in general is extremely nice to have as my eye doctor. I don't worry because I know he will be right on top of any issue that will come up and is always very thorough with my eye exam.

First of all Dr. Darvin's staff is FANTASTIC! Every staff member was cordial and so easy to talk to. I was greeted with a smile when I came in and when I signed out. Everyone made sure I was comfortable. Every procedure was explained very carefully. Leiah did two of the procedures and was so gentle. When Dr. Darvin came in his first question was "How are you feeling?" When I mentioned a slight pain I was having he reassured me it was nothing to be concerned about. I have been seeing Dr. Darvin for many years and he has always been a kind and caring doctor. He has a kind and gentle manner. I highly recommend Dr. Darvin.

Highly Recommend! Dr. Darvin is really professional and caring. I went to him as a second option, he knew the issue and symptoms and explained it very well for me to understand my options. Did great operation on my stye, all I have asked for in a good eye doctor came true. Will definitely recommend him and Santamaria Eye Center to others. The wait was painless, the staff were nice and greeted me with warm manner. All good vibe.

I have been a long time patient of both Dr. Darvin and Dr. Santamaria and have received excellent care from both over the years.On Feb.7,2017 I had an emergency that required attention. I called the office and my call was promptly answered and I was given an appointment within an hour.I was so relieved to be seen in such a timely manner,for this office is an incredibly busy practice.The office staff was friendly and professional and patient.They always are.As I left after seeing Dr. Darvin, I felt very fortunate to have such wonderful care for my eyes. The staff explained what was being done as part of my examination and I never felt rushed. Dr. Darvin also examined me thoroughly and gave me a clear explanation of what was causing my problem. He took the needed time to assess my situation and patiently explained my course of treatment .!I can't say thank you enough to Dr. Darvin,Dr. Santamaria and staff for the outstanding medical care they deliver.You are all wonderful

Kind and caring, very knowledgable. Sometimes a long wait but worth it.

The staff may not always be so helpful, but Dr. Darvin is one of the best Optometrists around. He specializes in Diabetic eye problems. He is friendly, listens well, and takes very good care of your eyes. Dr. SantaMaria would not have him working in his office if he wasn't knowledgeable. He always follows up with a report to my Primart Doctor. I would recommend Dr. Darvin to anyone!!!

Staff doesn't answer phone calls. Have to leave a message and then they don't call back.. even to my primary docs office. The attitude was sarcastic and condescending. The doctor was actually nasty tome. He asked me a question then told me to stop talking so he could examine me. When I asked him a question, he told me that if I had been listening I'd understand. These also was a question about my medication that he told me one thing and prescribed another. They refracted my eyes which was not covered by insurance and did tell me this until after. They told me I had to come back for another test which is one of the tests I went for. Also, tried pushing their own optometrist on me and belittling my and most optometrits. Very discourteous and unprofessional ...

He is not careful enough. He goes beyond what he knows and is capable of doing. Watch out.
