Dr. Rosas and his team are amazing. On 1/7/22 they repaired my ankle by placing a plate on my ankle and screwing it into the bone. They also repaired the ligament by securing it to the bone. As of tomorrow it will be two weeks since surgery and it is feeling great. His PA Tracy is very knowledgeable and helpful. Denise, his Patient Care Assistant is very personable and helps in any way she can

I was extremely pleased with Dr. Rosas— he is kind,he is very knowledgeable, and takes the time with his patient .I would definitely recommend him .

Fell and ruptured right knee quads and tore meniscus. Went to emergency room, and next day, Sunday morning, dr. Rosas operated. Put screws in bone and sutured tendons back in place…not an easy job! Next day…I walked. Day after that I went up stairs. I will be in rehab for quite a while, but I am getting better every day. I could not ask for anything more.

A little late to the party for rating Dr. Rosas, but I’ve read reviews that people don’t like how he presents himself, and I can kind of understand that. BUT, he did both of my foot surgeries and was awesome about it. He can have kind of an off putting attitude sometimes, but he got the job done and I’m in way less pain. I had seen a few other docs before him that said nothing was wrong, but he could see the issues in the X-ray in one appointment. I also saw someone say he doesn’t prescribe pain meds after surgery, and I’m not sure why he didn’t for them, but he did for me. And even gave us no hassle when my husband called to change them because they weren’t working or were giving me a bad reaction. I’d ask him that directly. If you’re direct with him, he will be direct with you!

Super experience with all visits thus far. Very accommodating to questions and educating the patient. My 4th Orthopedic in 7 years and I am very pleased and making process!

Dr.Rosas is awesome. He performed my surgery for bone spur removal on my left foot. His bedside manner was great and he was so supportive during surgery and after. He answered all my and my husband's questions and explained everything regarding my procedure completely. I would recommend him to anyone who wants their foot or ankle issues treated successfully.

After 1 appointment at a large, impersonal bone/ joint facility, I switched to OrthoNY, and am so glad I did! Dr. Rosas was exactly the right orthopedist to treat my broken fibula, and I am extremely pleased with the care I received from him and the staff at the Malta office. His assessment was spot-on, and he gave me appropriate guidance for my healing & recovery. Dr. Rosas never kept me waiting, answered all my questions, spoke to me like I was a smart person, and got me back on my feet!

I shattered my right Tibia. That Eve, Dr. Rosas put a metal support inside my leg, along the broken bone. It was screwed in at the knee and ankle. From what I can see and feel, I think he did an amazing job! It's been 11days since surgery. It still has stalled and stitches in it, and hurts like hell. As far as the Surgeons part. I am giving him top grades on the job.

Does anyone know why he doesn’t give pain meds after a surgery,? To me this sounds pretty barbaric?

I find Dr. Rosas to be friendly, some what personable yet some what none attentive. In saying that I mean, when you explain to a Dr. how something happened and it gets translated totally different I have an issue with that. That tells me he did not totally listen to what was being stated. Of course in my case there may have been some preconceived attitude towards me but that's neither here nor there. Professionally I trust his ability and that's what you really want in a surgeon.
