I can’t say enough great things about Tammy from Long Island Speech & Myo. My daughter began myofunctional therapy with her because of a tongue thrust and ongoing sleep troubles. From the very first session, Tammy was patient, engaging, and truly dedicated to helping her. She worked with my daughter every week, teaching her how to locate and maintain the correct tongue position — and somehow made the whole process fun. My daughter actually looked forward to her sessions with Tammy, which says everything! The progress has been incredible. I noticed a big improvement in her sleeping habits; she’s now sleeping through the night, and I had no idea her tongue posture could be connected to that. She’s also so much more aware of her tongue placement throughout the day and is speaking more clearly, especially with her “S” sound. I’m so grateful we found Tammy. She made a real difference in my daughter’s daily comfort, confidence, and overall well-being. Highly recommend!

Great services! I tried the mouth tape for the first time last night and I had the BEST sleep I’ve had in years! I didn’t feel groggy or tired when I woke up today! And my breathing was so much better! I could never sleep deeply and the mouth tape helped with that! Thank you Tammy for your help! Will definitely schedule more sessions!

Transformative and powerful - we cannot recommend Dr. Tammy Chaimov enough! Our daughter had an undiagnosed tongue tie that wasn’t released until she turned 9. Both before the procedure and especially after, Dr. Tammy worked with her to strengthen her tongue, improve her breathing, and gain full use of her mouth. She made every appointment fun, inspiring our daughter to lean into the process and practice her exercises at home. And after several weeks, our daughter was visibly more relaxed and confident and even breathing better.
