Lovelace Westside Hospital

This is the best lovelace I have been to, very underrated! Super friendly staff, very clean, all the other lovelaces are dirty, and the staff are very rude there are no vagrants or bums loitering around. I highly recommend this lovelace to anyone who wants to be treated like a person!

Everyone was very caring. Everything went quickly and I left feeling 100% better.

I had to take my mother for chest pains and low blood pressure early this morning. Everyone was amazing and so kind. My mother and I have been treated badly in the past by the other hospitals here in the metro area, but I am highly impressed with Lovelace Westside Hospital. The nurses and doctors were very kind and reassuring. Highly recommended.

first thing first i have to say the staff here is amazing !! i brought my dad here back in September 2021 for a severe foot infection. when we first got there he could barely walk six feet without getting completely exhausted. they got him in the ER room right away and by the end of the night he was able to walk from the room to the bathroom with ease and they diagnosed him with diabetes within a few hours. even with being understaffed and limited space due to covid, the staff did everything they could to treat my dad properly. by the next day he had his surgery for his amputation and ended up staying for about 2 weeks. during that time the staff were so kind and lovely people to be around and i always felt safe knowing my dad was in their care. he had to return about a month and a half later for a revision operation and stayed for about a week and they all remembered us and treated us so kindly. my dad has a fear of hospitals and doctors but staying here helped him overcome that. he’s almost at full recovery from the amputation and i am so happy that this is the hospital we chose to go to. i later came in myself for an allergic reaction and they treated me within an hour i was on my way home. the staff still remembered me even though it was been months and asked for updates about my dad. i recommend this hospital for everyone i know that lives in the area because you will always get excellent care !!first thing first i have to say the staff here is amazing !! i brought my dad here back in September 2021 for a severe foot infection. when we first got there he could barely walk six feet without getting completely exhausted. they got him …More

This is the second review I have written about Lovelace Westside Hospital. I am a registered nurse with 45 years experience in a variety of hospital settings all over the country. I had a left hip replacement on 9/9/21 and a right hip replacement on 1/9/22. In both cases, I was discharged the same day and my recovery has gone amazingly well. I am now essentially pain free after many years of continuous pain. My care at Lovelace was exceptional from Holly and Norma in preop screening to Christine, Ashley, June, and Lisa who prepared me for surgery (preop, day of surgery) and cared for me in the OR and PACU. Once again, the staff at the front entrance who collected specimens before surgery, greeters who insure escort to appropriate location, Jamie in admitting, and Elizabeth in the laboratory were professional and kind. Just as with the first surgery, I cannot think of a single complaint that I can make regarding my experience. If I could give a higher rating of stars, I would. Once again, I will definitely tell friends and family to feel comfortable putting their care in the hands of the staff at Lovelace Westside.

I just met my new primary and she's amazing "Celia Jones." She's very capable and very knowledgeable and she cares about your health and wellbeing and I am so so happy that I have her for my primary thank you Lovelace for getting her on our team. She AWSOME. I strongly believe the west side hospital is a perfect role model. All the medical staff made me feel secure and conformable before, during and after my procedure. The best, period. Polite staff, attentive to all my needs, AND THEY ALWAYS ANSWERED THE CALL BELL RIGHT AWAY! (Seriously, I thought it was considered a standard to ignore the call bell at most hospitals). The care was also superb and as I did have follow up concerns they were very helpful after I wasn't even a patient anymore.
