I had ACL reconstruction surgery in 2018 and he was very detailed about my situation and the benefits and risks that come with it. He made me feel comfortable going forward with the surgery,and I had a positive experience.

I had total left knee replacement on 4.11.23. I met with Dr. Rankin after interviewing 2 other really good surgeons. Dr. Rankin was kind and detailed in explaining why I needed surgery and how he would perform it. I was impressed that he performed a minimally invasive, quad sparing procedure. Said very confidentially, “that’s how I was trained to do it and it’s the only way I do it!” Predicted I would heal well and recover quickly and I have. Dr. Rankin visited me twice in the hospital post op, called me at home to check in and fully explained my Stryker Triathalon device, the procedure he used to install it (no cement) and answered all of my questions. I can NOT praise this kind surgeon’s skill, bedside manner and competency enough.

Doctor Marc Rankin is a great doctor. I have known him since he was in his twenties. Years ago he did knee surgery on my left knee. He did an awesome job. Came back in 2022 because of car injury to the same knee. Once again the results came out great. He is definitely one of the great doctors out there and he definitely have a caring and pleasant personality attitude. Thank you Dr Rankin for your great service to you patients.

Dr Rankin did my surgery in 2013 & 2014 for torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders via the DC area VA. 7+ years later, no other doctor has help me more. As far as I'm concerned, he is the best !!!

Dr. Rankin is a very thorough and professional doctor. He has a genuine interest in your health and well being and spends a great deal of time during the appointment. This is rare and all adds up to why he is the best.

What separates Dr. Rankin from many other surgeons is he will spend whatever amount of time it takes to make sure you understand your orthopedic condition. He is caring, charismatic, and conservative with your treatment plan. I wish there were only more surgeons like Dr. Rankin.

Dr Rankin is extremely Knowledgeable, kind and professional. He takes his time to explain your diagnosis and reasons behind him getting to it. The radiologic tech was amazing and very helpful. The assistant was also very kind and helpful. I really do recommend this place!

If you have any orthopedic issues your first stop should be Dr. Rankin. He is an outstanding professional who is meticulous in his work and takes the time to provide his patients with detailed, easy-to-understand explanations. The Summit Orthopedics staff were professional, kind, and super efficient making my visit with Dr. Rankin go smoothly. It's great to have someone of Dr. Rankin's stature taking care of me. I couldn't recommend him and his staff more highly.

The best Orthopedic Doc I’ve seen. I’m not the biggest fan of physical therapists and orthopedic doctors because I’ve often been misdiagnosed or given vanilla treatment that did not help me get back into athletic shape. I’ve resorted to DIY research which has helped in the past but my current knee injury wasn’t going away. Marc was able to diagnose and give me insights about my anatomy in a way I didn’t realize. It was humbling too because I thought I knew it all with my years of YouTube research lol. He gave pointers that I’ll apply to my training regime and fitness lifestyle going forward and I learn about a lot of mistakes I’ve been making in the past that’s made my knees more injury prone. Best Ortho doc by far. Recommending him to all my fitness buddies
