Dr. Frey is insightful, intelligent and relatable. There is no situation that she can't handle. Her passion for life, her patients and her profession, is contagious. I always leave her office with a clear mind and a plan to move forward. She's much more than just a doctor.

Dr. Frey is a superb therapist. She works continually with her patients to help them evolve and use their own skills to help with issues both at hand & underlying issues driving behaviors. She truly has helped guide me through a tremendous variety of situations & circumstances, as well as grief. She is vested in your well being. Her education is unsurpassed. Her reputation precedes her. The value that Dr. Frey adds to the community she serves is priceless. In an underserved rural community, she is a lifeline. I am a clinical psychologist who had a traumatizing encounter with Dr. Marilyn M-F 20 years ago, and regret not reviewing her immediately. Unfortunately, I can't elaborate on the experience, due to concerns about retributions from her. This encounter was, by default, highly stressful. This doctor was fully aware that I was very anxious, bordering on panicked . Other clinical psychologists, me included, would have recognized and acknowledged how anxious I was feeling, and done their best to alleviate it by making this highly stressful encounter as tolerable as possible. This doctor turned what was an unavoidably stressful encounter into a traumatic one. She treated me like an attorney cross examining a witness, not a psychologist.She was cold and cruel, with absolutely no evidence of empathy. Dr. M-F was also one of the weirdest people I have ever met, personally and professionally. She demonstrated several behaviors that were simultaneously strange and repugnant.For Yelp community members considering starting treatment with her, please find a different psychologist.
