I had been living with a ruptured proximal biceps tendon for quite some time. While it was not easy locating a doctor who would perform the surgery, Dr. Getelman and his staff were an absolute God send. He tackled my injury with the utmost confidence and professionalism, and helped me every step of the way to return my ruptured biceps tendon and rotator cuff to normal. He is truly the best you can find, hands down.

I'm so happy with SCOI Doctors I have seen. From day one of having knee pain until the day of my surgery. Dr. Getelman met with me and explained what was happening with my knee. He recommended surgery and also said he would try and repair as much as he can. Surgery went well now 2 weeks post-op and will start physical therapy. Thank you to all his staff and nurses for a quick process from diagnoses to treatment. I am a nurse and have 20 more years to work. Dr. Getelman has been very knowledgeable and informative throughout my entire process. He caught a root tear in my meniscus that was missed at Kerlan and Jobe. I am finally pain free after four months of wondering what was going on with my knee. Their communication system is fast and easy. He is very good at communicating what the problem is and what the solution is. He made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way. Dr Getelman did my shoulder several years ago and now my knee. excellent care

After falling, I lived with the complications from a stage 5 separation of my shoulder for nine months. I went to see Dr. Getelman and we discussed the outcomes of continuing to ignore the problem versus surgery. I elected for the surgery and my recovery is progressing for the better exactly as we discussed.

Dr. Getelman and his staff have been great, checking in daily on how I'm doing. I love how easy it is to ask questions and I get answers very quickly! During pre-op, the nurses were very attentive and kept me informed on all that was going on. I highly recommend Dr. Getelman and his office and staff!!

Dr Getelman is extremely knowledgeable and very thorough with his explanations of what the surgery entails. I saw other doctors for my shoulder but didn’t feel comfortable having them perform the surgery. After the first few seconds talking to Dr Getelman, I had full confidence. It is really tough to find a good doctor that takes TRICARE because the doctors break even or lose money on the cases, but that’s the insurance I have as an active duty military member. I’m pretty sure the only good doctors that take TRICARE are ones who just do it because they appreciate service members. Three deployments took their toll on my body and I can’t thank Dr Getelman enough for performing the surgery and getting me back to work.
