Masoom Kandahari

Dr. Kandahari is an excellent oncologist. I received a lot of help from the doctor. Thank you very much for everything doctor Kandahari!!

I can't speak for others but my experience with Dr. K has been good. he has patiently answered all of my questions. I have never had a problem with the staff or Nurses. they too have been helpful and supportive.

Back in 2012 I went to the office of Dr. Kandahari. It was the worst Dr.'s office I have ever been to. The two nurses who gave the chemo were terrible. They left two bits of plastic needle in my arm. One bit came out, but one is still stuck in there. They do not care, if they hurt you or not. The bathroom is always flooded with urine on the floor. The lady who takes the blood is the only one who knows how to insert a needle. Kandahari himself prescribed some powerful drug for me for pain. I never had any pain. I never asked for pain medication. The only pain medication I can take is Tylenol. He is the strangest doctor I every met. One lady fled in fear and never came back. At one point my treatment was changed, but I was never advised of it that it would be changed. After the change I felt ill after every treatment.

It is unfortunate that I have to write a poor review about a human being that has chosen a profession that allows them to make life and death decisions concerning the healthcare of others. However, I thought it very important to express my opinion about the behavior and conduct of "Dr" Kandahari. Without going into personal details this Dr's conduct towards my father (whom was diagnosed with cancer a year ago) was so heartbreaking and appalling that, my dad had to immediately, find another physician. I would just advise everyone to please do as much research on any doctor prior to your visit.

Be prepared to wait for a very long period of time in the waiting room.

Dr. Kandahari will not consider questions, if he knows nothing about the topic, he will not research it. He leaves the door open when meeting with patients. He makes insensitive comments to patients, i.e. commenting to a patient on chemo that their hair is "REALLY thinning out back there". The staff is more concerned about what they are having for lunch than about the welfare of their patients. With the exception of a couple, the nurses are not compassionate and can be cold. The office is poorly run too.
