Very knowledgeable cardiologist and primary care doctor. Been going to Dr Funk for 13 years. He is also my husbands doctor. Explains conditions and a compassionate doctor. I can't imagine going to any other doctor. I would give him 10 stars if possible. He has a great team and office staff. -Linda Angell

Dr Funk is the most caring and compassionate doctor. Listens to your concerns and will do everything possible to be reassuring. I am a high anxiety patient and his patience with me is very much appreciated by me. I would give him 10 stars if possible and to his wonderful team and office staff. Several years ago, I required tests for a potential cardiac issue. I was referred to Dr. Funk for follow up cardiology testing by my Primary Care Physician. I was very impressed with his thoroughness, patience, and ability to help the patient understand what the tests may show and what the results mean. I was very sad when I called a while ago to make an appointment for a new cardiac issue and was told that he was not accepting new patience my age (since it had been several years, I was considered a new patient). I hope he begins taking new patients again. I currently need to follow up with a cardiologist and stopped by here hoping to find out If he has begun taking new patients again. If he has, I will definitely be back. He is one of the best. I recommended him to my family and friends who needed a cardiologist.

I have been a patient of Dr Funk’s for 13 years. He started out being my cardiologist and he is now also my primary doctor. He is very caring and compassionate. I am a high anxiety patient and he always reassures me of my worries and concerns. My well being is his first concern. I would highly recommend him. I believe he is only taking new patients over 65. He is also my husband’s cardiologist and primary. We couldn’t ask for better care. He has a wonderful team that he works with and the staff is very nice. I am very particular about my medical care and how I am treated. I can be a little difficult but not with Dr Funk. You couldn’t ask for a better doctor. I would give him 10 stars if I could. After having worked for Doctors for over 35 years ( now retired) I finally found an excellent doctor, along with an excellent staff! I finally feel comfortable being under a doctors care and his wonderful office staff is a definite plus! A very positive experience! Thank you Dr. Funk and staff.
