Hi! Before making a decision to do this surgery I went and saw 2 other dr.s and Dr. Del mazo, won Me over He had great interpersonal relationship skills and was very knowledgeable and made the process smooth... and the kicker after the surgery he brought me a bear and said bear...ri..atrics.. (get it) no dr has ever done that that was so kind.. also brought back my confidence??

Dr. del Mazo is an amazing surgeon. He makes you feel as if you are his only patient, I know he has many more, but I always felt as if I was his first priority. He visited me in the hospital after surgery and encouraged me to get out of bed and walk, he even challenged me and another patient to a contest ... she won darn it! But it was a great experience all around.

Dr. Del Mazo is a very knowledgeable and capable surgeon. He is very understanding and he listens to your concerns. After I left the hospital for my RNY, I had a slight hiccup and ended up in the ER overnight. He came out during the weekend in the middle of the night to make sure I was alright. He’s very good and kind.

he is the best he took care of me until the last day of my stay in the hospital even the day that I had the 5-day follow up after the surgery.

I am having my surgery on February 28, 2018 what let me know that I have the right surgeon is when my son was really scared about my surgery I took him in to have my preop appointment and Dr Del Mazo Took the time to explain everything to my 8 year old son . Dr Del Mazo Care about my sons feelings You have been nothing but patient with me and my family and I’m glad that he is on my surgery

Dr. Del Mazo is hands down the best ever. Great bedside manner, funny, and attentive to your needs. I was actually going to have my surgery done by another surgeon but i found that the other surgeon was cold and didnt even bother to ask if i had any questions. I went to Dr. Del Mazo just to see if we vibed and sure enough i felt like we hit it off. I had to stay at the hospital an extra day and every day he visited me to make sure i was ok. I'm so happy he's my surgeon.

Dr. Del Mazo is my favorite person! He takes time with his patients, takes my concerns seriously, does great work, and has a great bed-side manner.

As a medical professional myself, it is imperative that I have doctors/physicians that are true partners in my care. Dr. Del Mazo is just that. From the minute I met him, I knew he was the perfect surgeon for me. Down to earth, never rushed, explains items to a T. He is truly a one of a kind physician/surgeon and I could not have asked for a better experience with him. He is AMAZING!
